Description
Sometimes I find things in pieces of tree which could be seen as flaws. Sometimes though, I persevere with them anyway. This bendy piece of damson has a tiny worm hole in it, as well as a little knot in the bowl. I like to think they add to the spoon though, rather than detracting.
Carved from locally sourced damson (very very hard work, but I think it’s worth it for the colour) and finished with cold pressed linseed oil.
