Join me in this two day exploration of the carved wooden eating spoon. A well made wooden eating spoon can be a thing of joy to use, but there’s a lot to it. I’ll be teaching you all my tricks and techniques, developed over years of carving, to create the perfect eating spoon. From tree to spoon, we’ll use just an axe, a straight knife and a spoon knife.
This course has a small group size, so you will get plenty of personal assistance and attention.
This course is ideal for people who have done some carving before, and are now looking to progress further.
The course runs 10 – 5pm both days. Included in the course price is a simple vegetarian lunch, tools to try out, and plenty of wood to use.
This spoon carving course will be held in Birmingham, UK. 5 minutes walk from the nearest train station & 10 minutes train journey from the city centre.
